Alkonic warranties cover manufacturing defects under normal domestic or light commercial use. Warranty periods begin on the date of installation (or delivery if self-installed). Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
01 What's Covered
The Alkonic warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects — failures caused by faulty materials or workmanship at the time of manufacture.
- Component failures — motor failure (pumps), control valve malfunction (softeners/filters), electrode plate defects (ionizers), under normal operating conditions.
- Parts and labour — cost of replacement parts and technician visit for warranty repairs.
- Ionizer plates specifically — the platinum-coated titanium plates carry a 5-year warranty on performance output (ORP and pH generation), with an expected service life of 25–28 years.
02 Exclusions
The warranty does not cover:
- Damage caused by improper installation not performed by Alkonic-certified technicians.
- Damage from water quality outside the specified operating parameters (e.g., extreme TDS, corrosive chemicals).
- Physical damage from mishandling, drops, or tampering.
- Consumables — filter media replacement, resin replacement after rated life, pre-filter cartridges.
- Damage from power surges or voltage fluctuations beyond 10% of rated voltage.
- Normal wear and tear including seals, O-rings, and tubing after 2 years.
- Repairs attempted by non-authorised personnel that cause further damage.
03 How to Claim
To initiate a warranty claim, contact us through any of these channels:

04 Claim Process
- Step 1 — Report: Contact our helpline. A service ticket is raised within 2 hours.
- Step 2 — Assessment: A technician visits within 48 hours for on-site diagnosis (pan India).
- Step 3 — Resolution: If covered under warranty, parts are replaced and labour is provided at no charge. Typical resolution within 48–72 hours of the technician visit.
- Step 4 — Confirmation: You receive a service completion report via WhatsApp or email.
05 AMC Plans
After the warranty period, we recommend enrolling in an Alkonic Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC), which includes:
- Scheduled annual service visits (1–2 per year depending on plan).
- Priority 48-hour response to breakdown calls.
- Discounted parts — up to 30% off standard rates.
- Filter media health assessment and proactive replacement advisory.

06 Warranty Transfer
Alkonic warranties are transferable if a property is sold, provided:
- The new owner notifies Alkonic within 30 days of property transfer.
- The original purchase invoice and installation record are provided.
